All the storms have passed finally and the surf has layed down some. The water is still a bit off colored inside the first bar with some weeds in the mix, but the conditions are fishable.

Mullet pods are thick from Ormond Beach south down the coast, and with the pods are the usual predators. Nice size bluefish, jacks, tarpon, redfish and of course the sharks.

For those looking to fill the freezer this week the sandfleas have also been thick on the beach, and as the water temp starts to fall to the lower 80’s the pompano have began to show in great numbers. Might have to move around to find the keepers and get away from the catfish, but it is well worth the effort.
