Snook are everywhere in my area right now! They are ranging in size anywhere from small juveniles on up to over slot-sized fish! Most anglers are finding success with artificials such as soft plastic and topwater lures. Redfish have definitely been around, but have been timid as far as the bite is concerned.

The evening trout bite has been fantastic this week, too. A few nice gator trout are coming through, but most have been in the 17 to 19 inch range.

Surprisingly, flounder have been coming in much more frequently than I’ve seen in a long while. It’s exciting to say that, all-in-all, fishing is great right now.

We are a family of die hard fishermen and women who love to fish anytime, anywhere. The Salty Dawg Team has nearly 100 years of combined experience in salt water fishing, whether in a boat, kayak, surf or pier. Whether you're a novice at fishing or a tried and true angler we're here to pass on our knowledge to make you a more successful angler.
