A beautiful gator trout caught inshore on a recent trip.

Our weather here in the New Smyrna Beach area has finally started to become stable. It looks like the weather will continue into next week making for good fishing conditions. We still have good numbers of bait throughout both New Smyrna and Mosquito Lagoon. We have been targeting several species from bluefish, jacks , redfish and snook. There has been trout, black drum and redfish hanging on shorelines in the Lagoon. They have been chewing well on live and cut bait but have also been receptive to artificial baits, as well.
