Welcome, @boatless! I, too, love enjoying a cocktail at Inlet Harbor. Where in the MW are you from and what type of boat do you have in mind?
I cut my teeth bass fishing and still love to do it as often as possible. I do more saltwater fishing now than anything and I will admit, having a boat does help increase your chances. What kind of boats have you been looking at? I recently purchased an older bay boat and I really like it.
