I’m a midwest transplant, having moved to the Daytona area about a year ago. I’ve always been a bass hound, but have been trying to get in the saltwater game more and more since relocating to Florida. I love having a cocktail at Inlet Harbor while watching the boats come in — and am hopeful to join the ranks of boat-owning fishermen in the near future! Until then, I’ll continue to look on in envy while sticking to the piers and jetties that I’m used to!
Welcome, @boatless! I, too, love enjoying a cocktail at Inlet Harbor. Where in the MW are you from and what type of boat do you have in mind?

I cut my teeth bass fishing and still love to do it as often as possible. I do more saltwater fishing now than anything and I will admit, having a boat does help increase your chances. What kind of boats have you been looking at? I recently purchased an older bay boat and I really like it.
