The bait has started to flow into New Smyrna Beach in good numbers. With the bait starting to arrive look for the bite to only get better. These next few months are one of my favorite times of year to fish . The larger snook are starting to chew around the structure along with the larger jacks as well. The redfish and trout can be found mixed in with the bait further south throughout Mosquito Lagoon. The live bait has been working best but plugs and soft plastics have been getting the job done. As more bait continues to show up the bite will continue to only get better.
