The redfish have been biting consistently on the Mosquito Lagoon.

The bite continues to be good throughout the New Smyrna Beach area. We have been bringing several species boat side from redfish and trout to snook and jacks. The bait still continues to be in large numbers across Mosquito Lagoon. Targeting the bait pods early has been the trick and then moving out to the deeper water as the day warms up has been a good choice, as well. Live bait and artificial’s both have been working well, and now that the holiday weekend has past, the boat traffic should hopefully continue to slow down.
