Cobia Remain Thick in 40 – 60 ft

This time of year, one of the most exciting things to do is target cobia that are following the manta rays as they work their way north past our coast. If you love to sight fish, there is not much that tops this. Currently, the rays with cobia in tow are still continuing to show themselves around 40 to 60 feet of water from Brevard County all the way up in to Saint Augustine. In the lagoon, the mangrove snapper bite has continued to be very good as well as some sheepshead and black drum.
