Catching is good right now in the Mosquito Lagoon!

The bite has been good throughout New Smyrna Beach this past week. We have been boating a mixture of species from redfish, trout, snook and jacks, just to mention a few. The bait has been very plentiful in the Backwaters of New Smyrna Beach and Mosquito Lagoon area. With Snook season opening on Sept 1st I foresee a little more boat traffic and pressure on the water. The weather this coming week looks good to go catch fish, though!
