Big bull reds continue to be the target on my guided fishing trips.

The last week has brought a different weather pattern with tropical systems moving south of us here in New Smyrna Beach, but the fishing has remained good!

The daily cycle of afternoon thunderstorms has changed with a strong onshore flow and mild showers with no lightning. Nonetheless, we have been able to avoid the rain on most days while catching big bull redfish daily in the Ponce Inlet and Mosquito Lagoon areas.

The onshore flow has made the ocean a little too rough this week to target nearshore tarpon in the Ponce Inlet area but that should change going into next week!
