Put your surf fishing skills to the test this weekend!

This week the surf fishing was a bit tough but the whiting and pompano where still active in the early part of the day, with the best catches coming on the first half of the incoming tide. With sand fleas and shrimp being the top bait of choice.

The mullet run is starting to get into full swing right now, and the large tarpon being tight to the sand. Live finger mullet, tuna poppers, and large silver spoons.

This weekend, for anyone that enjoys surf fishing and wants to put their skills to the test, Roy Matson is hosting a tournament on Saturday, October 24th.
