This weeks the current and weeds have started to move in with the east winds that have been blowing for the last couple of weeks. The water was a bit sandy due to the close swell period this week.

The bite was a bit slow, however, the whiting, croakers, and resident pompano are still hitting. Fresh dead shrimp, sand fleas, and clam is still the bait of choice.

If your willing to put in the time to move up and down the beach you can find the bait pods with tarpon and sharks feeding. As always, the prime times have been early morning and late afternoon for the bite.
